EC investment-perspective from recorded selling price

Take a hard look at this data which I have compiled from The Business Time and did some analysis on it. On the top portion, from Eastvale to The Floravele, these represent ECs which have been privatised and the bottom rows represent those eligible to be sold to either S'porean or PRs which are still under 5 years - 10 years old.

% gain column represent gains which you can achieve through the number of years upon launched date till the latest transaction which happened in year 2011. % gain/year give u an idea of what is the average return you will get from this investment through the years from launched date till 2011.

The columns to the right give you an idea of what is the inflation rate through these years for these development upon launched date till 2011. Data was collected from MAS M2 money supply which most economist use to gauge the rate of inflation in an economy. Take a hard look at column % diff (M2 vs price) which reflect the rate of inflation compare to the appreciation of your investment. The last column give u an idea of what kind of investment are you getting out of these investment. Overall, you will never going to beat the rate of monetary expansion (inflation), so the last column in Tangerine give u an idea of how much your investment return lag in comparison to inflation.
